  Environmental Management
For many years now, Air France has striven to grow while at the same time respecting its natural environment. As a result, control over the environmental impacts of its activities is a key concern of the Company.

  Noise
Aircraft are generating less and less noise. In view of the forecast increase in air traffic, Air France has embarked on a proactive programme to control noise and in doing so goes beyond the regulatory demands set by each airport.

  Emissions
Like all transport modes, air transport generates emissions and Air France has launched a programme to control these. Currently, emissions from its activities are rising more slowly than its traffic levels.

  Resource Management
Programmes to cut energy and water consumption and to reduce and recover waste are part of efforts throughout the different business activities of Air France designed to ensure a coherent whole.
